Botox injections
Botox is a popular treatment to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on the face. It is done by injecting botulinum toxin into specific areas of the face to relax muscles and limit their movement, resulting in a reduction in the appearance of wrinkles.
The most common areas where Botox is injected on the face are:
Forehead: Botox injections into the forehead muscles help reduce the appearance of horizontal wrinkles (lines) on the forehead.
Outer corners of the eyes (corners of the eyes): Botox injections in this area help reduce the appearance of wrinkles called “crow’s feet” or radial wrinkles in the corners of the eyes.
Eyebrows: Botox injections into the eyebrow muscles help lift the eyebrows and smooth the area.
Nose: Botox may be used to reduce the contraction of the nasal muscles that lead to nasal wrinkles.
Mouth Line: Botox injections into the mouth line help reduce the appearance of vertical wrinkles around the mouth.
