Scar subsession

Scar subsession is a treatment procedure in which a special type of needle is inserted into the layers of skin below the desired scar. This needle separates the scar tissue from the layers of skin below it, which leaves a wound and a gap in the incision area, which causes the superficial layer of skin in the sunken area to rise upwards due to the new gap.

Categories suitable for Scar subsession

Deep scars resulting from things like acne, surgery, accident or trauma, and chickenpox

Not suitable for treating wrinkles

Sunken skin in areas where the patient has had skin grafts

sunken skin in areas affected by cellulite

Other types of acne scars, such as: scars with round edges
